Truestock — options and bundles that track real inventory
Product options, add-ons and bundles that become real Shopify variants with real stock — not line-item-property hacks that quietly oversell.
The problem in one line: if the component a customer picked is not a real variant, Shopify never decrements its stock — so you keep selling a part you ran out of weeks ago.
Why options apps break inventory
The usual approach is to record a customer's choices as line-item properties, or to create hidden "phantom" products to carry the price. Both make the order look right on the invoice. Neither tells Shopify that one of a specific component left the building.
You find out at the end of the month, when the count on the shelf does not match the count in the admin — and there is no clean way to reconcile it, because the data to do so was never recorded.
What Truestock does instead
Selections are resolved into real variants using a Shopify Cart Transform Function. A bundle expands into its components; an add-on becomes its own line. Shopify then does what it already does well: decrement stock, report on it, and stop selling when it runs out.

Status
